Boat Trip

The first outing we did in Vancouver was a boat trip with Uncle Barry, Jen and Lisa. We boarded at a marina in Port Moody. Uncle Barry's boat is really nice. They had a life jacket for Chantal and we brought one for Austin. The kids took to the ocean like naturals. They were both excited and loved the boat.




We decided to take a trip up Indian Arm which is an inlet near Port Moody. Austin fell asleep on Daddy part way through the trip and Chantal slept on Lisa. The adults enjoyed the view (it was spectacular) and the informative commentary by Barry. We reached the end of Indian Arm and had some snacks before heading back to the docks.



Our favourite highlights were seeing the hydro plants, the waterfalls, the seals and the sea lions!

After our trip we all had ice cream at a nearby ice cream place and sat on the grass. We went back to Barry's house and had more delicious food (thanks Vicki!). Then back to the house in Capitol Hill for bedtime and a round of Gin Rummy.
