Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre

On Saturday we visited the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre in Sidney BC. We had already seen two other aquariums in BC so our expectations were high. We were pleasantly surprised. This aquarium is a great place for kids. The entrance chamber is a mock submarine which got Chantal quite excited (and a little scared).



There were several tanks to view as well as a kids craft area young scientist exhibits. There were tons of staff and volunteer on hand to answer questions. There was also a great touch pool which both of the kids enjoyed.





After the aquarium we stopped at Boston Pizza for a quick lunch before we returned home so I could get ready for Dustin and Karen's wedding.
